Scarlett Johansson was born on November 22nd, 1984 at New York City New York. She is an American actress/singer whose versatility has won her recognition across many genres - from thrillers and action films to period dramas. Johansson was the child of a filmmaker as well as an architect. Her family was based in New York City. Hunter and her twin brother and She were both the youngest out of four kids. At a very young age, she developed a passion for acting and began making commercial auditions around the age seven. Then she began her studies at the Lee Strasberg Theatre Institute and afterwards took classes at the Professional Children's School in Manhattan to further hone her craft. In the Off-Broadway production Sophistry she acted alongside Ethan Hawke. She then appeared in her first film on screen in North (1994) and was written by Rob Reiner, at age nine. Johansson was next seen as a character in Just Cause (1995), after which she made her debut in the film Manny & Lo - a tale about two sisters who are orphans who escape. The Horse Whisperer (2000) where she was a teenager with a deformity because of an accident earned her critical acclaim. In Ghost World 2001 (as the cynical teenage outcast Rebecca) Johansson was awarded an even greater amount of attention. Alongside her part in the TV series, she has also been a stage actor for many years. She is known for her exceptional performances in such plays as Wildflower. Renee Felice Smith was a child when she began her career in entertainment. When she was a kid she fell in love with acting. Smith found her first role as an actor when she was six years old thanks to her parents. Smith was in a television commercial for Dannon yogurt. Like many other actresses starting out, she chose to refine her skills in the field of theater. When she performed her stage debut with Wildflower she also worked on different projects across USA. She was educated at the Stonestreet Studios Conservatory of the New York University Tisch School of the Arts.
